A superb vintage trilogy ring set with a blue Ceylon sapphire flanked by two trillion cut diamonds. The principal stone is a certified 3.73ct no heat sapphire, shield shaped, with Sri Lanka origin - it's a stunning cornflower blue colour and quite an unusual cut. The ring mount is modelled in 18 karat white gold, and dates from the late 1960s / early 1970s. Well proportioned and bearing French hallmarks to the outer band.
