A midcentury classic with a little flair!
Handmade in platinum circa 1940-1950s, this spectacular ring centers a .85 carat re-cut Modern Brilliant diamond, with a H-I color and SI1 clarity grading. The stone was re-cut to what was considered the ideal "Modern Brilliant" standard of the midcentury era. And the fishtail prong setting that slightly raises the center diamond is also very indicative of the time when this elegant ring was made! The 2 baguette-cut diamonds that flank the center stone on either side total .14 carats. The sleek design of this vintage diamond ring allows it to be easily paired with a wedding band, like we have, or worn alone in all its splendor.
